Kerwin Williams, M.D.
Dr. Williams maintains
a practice dedicated to the treatment of congenital patients with
birth defects and traumatic injuries. He also has a special interest
in facial aesthetics and body contouring. Dr.
Williams incorporates the latest techniques
in both aspects of his practice including extensive use of lasers
and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Williams is a graduate
of the University of Mississippi School of Medicine (his native
state). After completing his training in Plastic Surgery at Emory
University in Atlanta, GA, Dr. Williams underwent fellowship training
in pediatric and craniofacial surgery at New York University. He
is an active member of numerous societies including the American
Society of Plastic Surgery, American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association,
and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a
fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Joe Williams has
contributed extensively in both medical journals and textbooks in
the field of pediatric and craniofacial surgery. Selected journal

Dr. Williams currently
holds a clinical appointment as associate professor at Emory University
in the Division of Plastic Surgery. He is Chief of Plastic Surgery
at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite and Director
of Research at the Center for Craniofacial Deformities. He has privileges
at St. Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta, Northside Hospital, and Egleston
Children's Hospital. Private operating rooms in the Northside Sandy Springs Outpatient Surgery Center
at Atlanta Plastic Surgery are also available for cosmetic and reconstructive
procedures.
