Dr. Burstein practices in all areas of aesthetic surgery, with an emphasis on the face and facial skeleton. He has experience with today's most advanced surgical techniques, including laser resurfacing, endoscopic surgery, ultrasonic liposuction, and advanced rhinoplasty and face-lifting techniques. He also works with leading orthodontists to optimize the functional and cosmetic results in patients who require surgery of the jaws.

Dr. Burstein has earned a reputation not only for his outstanding surgical skill and training, but also for his interest in a patient's complete medical well-being. Board-certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, he received his postgraduate surgical training at Yale University and UCLA. He completed additional training in surgery of the jaws and facial skeleton at UCLA.

Dr. Burstein holds academic appointments at Emory University, is the Director of Center for Craniofacial Surgery at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, and has authored many scientific articles and book chapters. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he is active in numerous professional associations, including The American Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and The American Maxillofacial Reconstructive Surgeons. He is on staff at Northside Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.
